Damon Engineering is one of Auckland’s most experienced and well respected mechanical engineering companies specialising in fabrication, project management, mechanical design, plant and site maintenance. We offer professional skills to a wide range of mostly blue chip clients, predominantly in the food and services industry. All management are Advanced Trade or Professionally qualified to give you competent solutions.
Most of our high profile corporate clients have made us their “Engineers of Choice” and in return we offer expertise in their plant operations, on call and after hours work, engaged, highly trained staff offering speedy solutions, as well as a thorough understanding of their needs and requirements.
Damon Engineering was formed in 1984 operating from East Tamaki servicing the local clientele. The company grew with the industrial development of Central, South and East Auckland and with an initial focus on the food, beverage and service industries. The business continued to expand operations progressively into power generating SOE’s, infrastructure, food processing, airline and chemical industries. These industries now form the most significant part of the business.
Our commitment to quality and range of finishes sets our work apart from others. Damon Engineering is proud of its long serving, skilled and stable work force offering personal service, creativeness and quality workmanship, with innovative ideas and commitment to excellence. We are specialists in bespoke work using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
One of the key features we offer at Damon Engineering is a full fabrication service plus a modern and well equipped machining shop, allowing almost all components of manufacture to be completed in-house. This minimises delays as we really are a “one stop shop”.
Along with our our sister organisations – Allwin Steel and ACE Structural, we have very long standing relationships with other engineering process workshops for anything that needs to be outsourced.
Almost every item is custom designed and made to our clients specific requirements, all site measured, fabricated and installed by our staff to ensure a perfect result.
Located in the heart of “industrial” East Tamaki, we are available for immediate response to client breakdowns, planned shuts, maintenance scheduling and/or on request as seconded engineering support while client engineers are on leave and for design/build engineering support.
